I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the accommodations were spacious and well-furnished, the service left a lot to be desired. The location is beautiful, surrounded by vines, but getting around without a car was a challenge. Dining was hit or miss, and overall, I think there are better options in the area for a relaxing stay.
We had a truly delightful stay at the hotel, which offered fantastic accommodations and amenities. The Deluxe Spa Suite was spacious and clean, with stunning views and a luxurious spa bath. However, the dining experience at the restaurant had some room for improvement, particularly regarding atmosphere and breakfast quality. Overall, it was a memorable getaway, and I’d definitely recommend staying here for a relaxing experience in a beautiful spot.
Balgownie Estate is a beautiful resort with some truly stunning views, spacious rooms, and excellent dining options. The Segway tour around the winery and the hot air balloon ride were absolute highlights of our stay. However, there were some issues with room cleanliness and service that were disappointing and could be improved upon. Overall, it's a great getaway, just be aware of a few shortcomings.
I had a lovely weekend at the hotel, which is conveniently located just a short drive from Healesville and surrounded by beautiful wineries. The spacious room featured a kitchenette and a nice balcony, but the lack of warmth in the bedroom was a bit disappointing. Overall, it’s a comfortable stay, though for a romantic getaway, I might suggest looking elsewhere.
Our stay at this resort was quite pleasant overall. The accommodation was luxurious with stunning views of the valley, and we enjoyed the amenities, particularly the spa and restaurant.
